The studio behind the moment

An event detail — floral and table styling

Why Isabelle started Luminary

Isabelle Fontaine spent ten years producing events inside luxury hotels and global brands. She loved the craft — but watched too many beautiful events let down by the things guests never see: a missed cue, a vendor who didn’t show, a host too stressed to enjoy their own night.

In 2017 she founded Luminary on a simple belief: a great event should feel effortless to everyone in the room, including the person who paid for it. That meant treating production with the rigour of a film set — and treating clients like the guest of honour, not the project manager.

Nine years and 340-plus events later, that belief hasn’t changed. Whether it’s a 480-guest awards ceremony or an intimate anniversary dinner, the same small senior team designs it, builds it and runs it — so nothing falls through the cracks.

What we believe

The room should feel inevitable

Great design is invisible. Guests shouldn’t see the work — they should simply feel that the evening could not have been any other way.

Production is a discipline

Creativity gets the credit, but logistics save the night. We rehearse, we contingency-plan, and we run a tight show so the magic holds.

The host is a guest too

If you spend your event chasing vendors, we’ve failed. Our job is to hand you the night you imagined and let you enjoy every minute of it.

In Isabelle’s words

An event is ninety days of work for one perfect evening. Our entire craft is making sure that evening looks like it took no work at all.
